We recommend a minimum hair length of 6 inches for a seamless blend. However, if you feel confident styling them with shorter hair, you’re more than welcome to try them!

Should I wash my extensions before wearing them?

Yes. All PICARA clip-ins are treated with a protective vitamin seal. We recommend washing them before your first wear for the most natural feel and look.

Can I style my PICARA extensions with heat tools?

Absolutely. Our 100% Remy human hair extensions can be curled, straightened, or waved. Always use a heat protectant spray to preserve their integrity. Some clients prefer to wash off the vitamin coating before styling for a softer finish.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. In some cases, tracking will update only at delivery.

Is it normal for color to bleed during the first wash?

Yes, slight color bleeding during the first few washes—especially in darker shades—is normal and will not affect the final tone or quality of your extensions.

What’s the difference between the Wrap Ponytail and the Clip Ponytail?

Wrap Ponytail: A sleek, natural look using a Velcro band and a strand wrap for a seamless finish. Ideal for low or mid ponytails.
Clip Ponytail: Comes with a secure claw clip for easy application and is best for high pony styles. Includes an attached hair tie for a firm hold.

Can I wash my extensions?

Yes! Use sulfate-free shampoos and hydrating conditioners. We recommend leave-in conditioners and heat protectants to extend their lifespan.

How do I choose the right color?

Can I return or exchange if I got the wrong color?

Yes — as long as the security seal is intact and the main packaging is unopened. Contact our team before sending it back.

Can I dye my PICARA extensions?

Our extensions are 100% human hair and can accept dye. However, we recommend working with a professional colorist.
Do not bleach or attempt to lighten your extensions, and we don’t suggest dyeing balayage or ombré shades as they’ve already undergone multiple treatments.

How long will my PICARA clip-ins last?

With proper care, they can last 6 to 12 months. Their lifespan will vary based on how often you wear and wash them.

Can I sleep in my extensions?

No — we strongly advise removing your clip-ins before bed to prevent tangling and damage to both your hair and the clips.

How should I dry my extensions?

After washing, gently towel dry and hang on your PICARA Extension Holder. Let them air dry or blow dry using a heat protectant. You can style them while they’re on the holder too.

How often should I wash my clip-ins?

Only when they feel like they need it — if they’re heavy with product, lifeless, or dull. Since they don’t receive natural scalp oils, they don’t need frequent washing.
